Retention of personal data
Lumera does not save personal data longer than necessary given the purpose of the processing, unless otherwise required or permitted by law. This period will vary depending on the nature of your interactions with us. Where we no longer have a need to keep your information, we will delete or anonymise it. Please note that where you unsubscribe or opt out from a marketing communication, we need to keep a record of your email address to ensure we do not send you marketing emails in the future.
Protection of your personal data
Lumera has implemented and taken appropriate technical, organisational and administrative security measures to protect your personal data from loss, abuse, deletion, unauthorized access, alteration and destruction. Should a security breach occur that is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, , e.g. risk of fraud or identity theft, we will contact you to explain what action you can take to mitigate potential adverse effects of the breach.
Where do we use your personal data
Lumera will mostly only process your personal data within Sweden or the EU/EEA. Wherever we transfer personal data outside of Sweden or EU/EEA, we will ensure that there is a legal basis for the transfer and that the level of protection is equivalent to that applicable within the EU/EEA, either by ensuring that the country has an adequate level of protection, that we have taken adequate protective measures or that you have given your explicit consent.

As a registered person, you have certain rights in relation to your personal data. Please note that the rights under the GDPR are not unconditional. Therefore, an attempt to invoke any of the rights might not lead to an action.Your rights include the following:
