SPP the Swedish subsidiary of the Norwegian Life Insurer Storebrand and Itello have started a cooperation in administration and underwriting of risk insurances.

In the spring of 2015 SPP conducted a contract about future support for the administration of risk insurances. A feasibility study was conducted and SPP have now chosen Itello as a partner and supplier of the standard system Inca for the administration of risk insurances. Risk insurance will be administered through an intermediary and a premium centre – Försäkringsgirot as well as directly in Inca. The implementation has already begun and is planned to be completed later in the fall 2015.

Financial security in illness and accidents are an important complement to our customers in their total pension. With our partnership with Itello we now create a new platform for our offerings,” says Michaela Brown Heim, Head of Insurance, SPP.

“We at Itello are driven to more utilize our system Inca. We are confident that our system Inca increases efficiency at several levels for our customers. With more efficient operations, our customers can deliver better products to their pension and policyholders. Which in turn brings competitive advantages for our customers. The co-operation with SPP will strengthen our offering with new features and streamline processes relating to underwriting life insurance products. We have the systems and the skills needed for a successful project,” says Hans von Knorring, CEO, Itello.
