LF Fondliv has been driving a major transformation over the past several years aimed at improving the customer experience, establishing a more efficient cost structure, and creating a more flexible and agile operating model. The transformation focuses on a simplified future product offering and the introduction of a new insurance platform, Lumera. It also lays the foundation for more efficient customer interactions through increased automation and coordinated information management. In addition, several migration initiatives are underway to gradually phase out legacy IT systems.

Within this broader transformation, the “New occupational pension offering in group scheme”– LF-Plan – has played a key role. The objective was to develop and launch a modern and flexible occupational pension offering for LF’s own sales force within Länsbolagen, based on Lumera’s group scheme framework. In many ways, the project has acted as a driver for the wider transformation by enabling the shift towards a modern product architecture and new digital ways of working.

The project was delivered according to an ambitious timeline and successfully met its key objectives. New sales of the offering began as planned in June 2025. During the autumn rollout, the offering was successfully launched across eight regional sales offices (“Länsbolag”) by 31 December 2025, meeting an ambitious target.

Beyond meeting targets for time and cost, the project represents an important enabler for LF’s continued growth and a central component in achieving the long-term objectives of the company’s transformation. The collaboration between LF and Lumera has been characterised by open communication and continuous iteration of needs and solutions.

LF is currently in the rollout phase and the full effects are still being evaluated. However, early results already show positive momentum. As of February 2026, several hundred occupational pension plans have been signed in the new system.

Over time, the new occupational pension offering, LF Plan, is expected to deliver several long-term benefits. Advisors will be able to initiate and complete new cases during a single advisory meeting, improving efficiency and reducing manual administration. Corporate customers will also gain easier access to administer pension policies through LF’s corporate portal, contributing to improved customer satisfaction.

Launching occupational pension business within group schemes represents a significant milestone for LF. By successfully delivering an ambitious rollout while laying the foundation for long-term transformation, the project stands out as a strong example of innovation and collaboration, making it a worthy nominee for Lumera’s Trophy of the Year 2025.
