A word from our CEO
Lumera’s third newsletter this year covers a broad range of subjects, some with a broad appeal spanning all our markets, while others have a more distinct local flavour. Speaking on behalf of Group management, I believe we are obliged to learn from new colleagues and clients as we expand into more markets. Hopefully, the content we share here can inspire more fruitful exchanges across borders.
In the UK, Pension Fusion, our pensions dashboards Integrated Service Provider (ISP) solution, has enabled the successful onboarding of Lumera clients to the dashboards ecosystem, with many further integrations underway.
In the Netherlands, pension funds are reconsidering their approach to administration, electing to insource functions which have traditionally been managed by specialised third party administrators. Our whitepaper on Self-administration examines this trend and the key issues involved.
Our Chief Commercial Officer, Peter Roos, recently participated in a roundtable of industry experts hosted by Pensions Age Magazine to discuss how technology, data, and AI can transform pensions administration. This article reveals both barriers to further digitalisation and opportunities for enhancing efficiency and creating more accessible and engaging pension experiences.
Data quality is a critical requirement for successful platform transitions, while securing accurate, complete and consistent data can be a tough and potentially costly challenge. Learn how our Independent Consulting team helps insurers and pension providers take control of their data. Their proven expertise in preparing for migration projects is now also available to Swedish clients.
In the UK, Lumera is a proud partner of the Pensions Administration Standards Association (PASA). Most recently, we have contributed to the PASA Dashboards Working Group in developing its significantly updated Data Matching Convention (DMC) guidance.
We also take pride in offering a platform built on advanced yet fit-for-purpose software technology. This is demonstrated by the recently launched Lumera Core Container and Helm Charts, now available for clients using on-premises infrastructure. This marks a significant step towards standardising and modernising the deployment of Lumera solutions.
On the human side of addressing the future, Lumera has sponsored the Student Network Special Interest Group SIG, a new initiative by the UK Pension Management Institute (PMI) to provide a collaborative space for students to ask questions, share experiences, and build valuable connections.
3x new offices
Further illustrating that Lumera is an evolving organisation, three of our offices have recently moved: beginning with Oslo, followed by London, and finally our Stockholm headquarters. In each city, you still find us at central locations, near our clients.
