Today, the Swedish pension hub minPension starts to present significantly improved pension forecast to soon to be retired ageing from 54 to 67 years.
This new feature is based on a game-changing collaboration between minPension, Itello and our customers. Together we have created an emerging open standard for initiating calculation of pension forecast and communicating the outcome to minPension. Itello has besides updated the integration to minPension, also implemented new calculation features in Inca during the fall 2018 and spring 2019.
The reason for the collaboration project was an assignment from the Swedish Pensions Authority to the pension hub minPension to make it easier for people soon to retire to make better-informed decisions regarding their retirement. The current situation caused many feeling that they do not have enough information before the decision to retire.
Now, thanks to the emerging standard and improved calculation features in Inca, three of our customers provides the significantly improved pension forecast to minPension.
Our three customers were all very active in our collaboration project and therefore, now providing improved calculation to minPension for customers of occupational pensions. Our other customers have the same functionality enables and updated integration, but decisions are at their own discretion.
minPension is both a free-standing website and an integrated website with other actors, such as the Swedish Pensions Agency’s logged in pages and the pension companies’ internet offices. More than 30 actors in the pension sector are now associate with minPension. Together they deliver pension information corresponding to 98 per cent of total pension capital. Nine out of ten pension savers can see their entire pension at minPension.
Through the unique collaboration between the State and the pension companies’ minPension are an important actor in society and an impartial voice in pension matters. Through minPension, Sweden is one of the first countries in the world as regards being able to offer their citizens information about their entire pension.
