Sustainability related questions are becoming more and more important for all companies, across all industries. The expectations on corporate responsibility are increasing and transparency becomes more prevalent.
As the new disclosure regulation enters into force next year, companies in the life and pension industry need to act and follow the development. The same goes for Itello, our suppliers and stakeholders.
As a company, Itello has a strong environmental commitment embedded in our business strategy and culture. As part of this, we have once again secured our environmental management system according to the ISO 14001 standard through the annual external audit. Furthermore, we have broadened our environmental efforts internally and will continue to support the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation during 2021. Our ambition is to reduce the environmental footprint through the services we use and through the products and services we offer our customers.
We are following the debate about the positive environmental impact of cloud services with excitement. According to studies, the dynamic allocation of capacity, shared infrastructure and energy-efficient data centers contribute to IT operational services in the cloud being able to in turn contribute to reduced environmental impact.
We welcome that!
