With the customer in focus, Nordea wanted to maximize the customer experience by offering an overall view and a complete service for their customers’ needs. To be able to offer market-leading advantageous insurance to its corporate customers, Nordea has therefore chosen to work with partners.
Thanks to the project, which was conducted in close collaboration between Nordea, partners and Lumera, Nordea can now improve its customer offerings using an external underwriter applying their risk assessment and rating capabilities when quoting the bundles offer. Furthermore, after acceptance, the process for billing and collection, policy insurance and customer communication are automated.
External insurance providers’ entire set of regulations are reflected in Lumera, which simplifies the administration of external products. This is normally a process that is very complex and difficult to integrate into existing systems.
The implemented solution will increase flexibility and shorten time-to-market. The automated business processes will also improve quality and customer satisfaction. Altogether, customer churn will be reduced, and customer life time value will be improved.
