A word from our CEO:
As another year has passed, I’m happy to look back at 2021 and say to the Lumera team: Well done, everyone! Our continuous growth and strong culture make me confident that Lumera is facing a bright future, in 2022 and beyond.
Looking ahead, we will continue to strive for growth outside the Nordic region, with the vision to become the leading SaaS provider for the European life and pensions industry. Early next year, we’re opening an additional development center in Hanoi to accelerate product development and support our development teams in Stockholm and Umeå.
We were delighted to once again be recognized by the SaaS community, as Lumera was ranked sixth in the Breakit SaaS report for 2021 which covers Sweden’s 55 largest SaaS companies. This testifies to the competitive strength of Lumera.
Over the years, Lumera has supported customers’ migrations from multiple bespoke legacy systems to our modern policy administration environment. I’m therefore also very proud to present the latest report from Celent, which covers the SPP’s legacy conversion project called Future Core. It outlines the reasons behind the Swedish insurer embarking on their transformation journey and describes the implementation and migration approach.
This report also offers lessons to be learned for other life and pension insurers. Please read it, or you might just ask us. Lumera has contributed to more than 50 migration projects across a wide variety of life insurance and pension product types, with a 100% success rate. The total number of policies managed using Lumera’s platform is now over 12 million.
